The purpose of this program is to enable students to communicate with experts from various industries in person, and get their career questions answered.

- Steven Hendryx (Moderator)—Henry Group Senior Vice President
A graduate of MIT and Harvard, with an MBA from Stanford Business School, Mr. Hendryx has served as an executive, consultant and diplomat during the 40 years span of his career.
During the 20 years he has worked in China, he served as the Commercial Minister Counselor in the US Embassy in Beijing, as Vice President with Nortel Networks, as well as consulting with the Haier Group and Mengniu Dairy Group.
Mr. Hendryx’s consulting career began with the Boston Consulting Group and Bain and Company, assisting Fortune 500 clients with key strategic decisions. Steve currently serves as Sr. Vice President of Henry Global Consulting, the world’s leading immigration investment agency.
- Tian Zhou—Senior Vice President of Greeland USA
As the director of human resources and administration at Greenland USA, Tian Zhou oversees corporate operations and governance, human resources, IT and administration.
Mr. Zhou has been with Greenland Group for nearly 20 years, having first joined the company in 1999. Since October 2004, Mr. Zhou served as the director of the general office of the First Real Estate Division, overseeing a team of more than 60 people across corporate management and culture, HR, public relations, legal and technology deployment functions. The First Division developed over 30 large-scale office, hotel, residential, retail and ultra-high-rise projects in Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, with annual construction area of more than 75 million square feet. As a result of his outstanding leadership, the First Division was awarded the Labor Medal by the All-China Federation of All Trade Unions.
- Cyrus Hogg—Director, Writer, Producer
Cyrus Hogg has been working in the Entertainment industry for over twenty years. Originally a classically trained animator from Ottawa, Canada, Cyrus has since focused on all aspects of the production pipeline through which he built, managed, and sold a production company. His accomplishments as Director and Creative Director include a long list of award winning commercial content for clients which include McDonald’s, Dell, and 20th Century Fox. With years of Visual Effects experience, Mr. Hogg worked on Zach Snyder’s Sucker Punch as Senior Technical Director where he was tasked with some of the most difficult and rewarding shots on the film. Recently, Mr. Hogg as completed a proof of concept for a feature film, INTREPID, that he both wrote and directed, starring Boo Stewart from Twilight and X-Men. Currently Cyrus is exploring all aspects of AR/VR and how it fits into our current society’s needs and wants.
- Julia Lin—Partner of Chen Lin & Wessel LLP
Julia Lin practices immigration law and specializes in the area of EB-5 immigration. Julia is well versed in all areas of EB-5 practice and has published an article on EB-5 Investors Magazine. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics. Julia was awarded her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. In addition, she is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court, Central District of California. She is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
- Tom Wang—PR manager and quality control manager of West Coast Holidays
Tom graduated from University of Southern California in 2004 with bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting. He then received his finance master’s degree in University of Illinois Urban Champaign in 2011. Before joining West Coast Holidays, Tom has various working experience with PwC, RSM McGladrey LLC, Merrill Lunch, Protiviti and DirecTV.
- David Iwane—National Vice President of Human Resources at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology
David Iwane holds a BA degree from the University of Southern California, an MBA degree from University of South Florida, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Management from Capella University. Dr. Iwane is a scholar practitioner working in the field of human resources with over 25 years of experience, and currently serves as the National Vice President of Human Resources at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and adjunct Professor in the Business I/O program.
His scholarly interests include human capital management, strategic planning, and leading turn around organizations. Dr. Iwane’s ongoing research in the area of Human Resources and Performance Excellence has led him to numerous consulting opportunities globally.
Dr. Iwane also serves as a Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award Examiner, and is a former California Team Excellence Award State Judge.
- Will Jay—Singer-songwriter
Based in Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Will Jay is also one of the finalists of The Voice of China season four.
