Corporate Strategy Associate


JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Strategy Associate will drive market assessment, analysis, project management and recommendations for CSG strategic or tactical initiatives. These initiatives could consist of technology strategy, new product monetization, M&A strategy, go to market or coverage strategy, or strategic sales planning. Examples of the projects candidates can expect to work on include developing and communicating a point of view on a specific market opportunity, or building an advanced analysis on revenue and sales force performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support CSG team leads and senior executives on strategic topics
  • Conduct detailed analyses that lead to compelling recommendations
  • Drive strategic projects by providing structured decision making backed by strong hypotheses
  • Synthesize information and analyses into creative business insights and recommendations ?
  • Incorporate multiple, differing perspectives into high quality deliverables
  • Assist the MD of SAP.io in driving startup engagement initiatives
  • Work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer on select topics
  • Present the recommendations to Senior Executives supporting CSG Lead on a project

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate should demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Proven, distinctive problem solving and analytical skills ? Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Superior Excel modeling skills and proficient PowerPoint skills
  • Outstanding senior executive communication and presentation skills
  • Capacity for multi-threading

The candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or a similar environment (e.g. M&A department within a Financial Services firm) and a BA/BS degree from top undergraduate institution.

2. JOB TITLE

iXp Intern, SAP Ariba Sales Support NYC


JOB SUMMARY

The role is supporting the RVP and up to 4 VP’s of Sales for Source-to-Settlement process: Digitizing the Procurement, AP, Treasury and Supply Chain capabilities with prospective Customers.

This team spends a lot of time in the field with Account Executives and often drives the sales cycles to closure.  When combined with Travel, Market Unit Collaboration and Forecasting, this leaves little time for the back office, management, people development and marketing focus. One of the core elements needed is market analysis, both in Net New organizations and the mid-market as well as Social Marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demand Generation- using data to identify similarities by Industry and Solutions to suggest other potential organizations that Sales can pursue.

  • Analysis of non-SAP customers.
  • Analysis of the market where organizations have less than $1B in Annual Revenue.
  • Use of Social Media and Social Selling Methodologies and recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or non-MBA master’s degree seeking program focusing on Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Supply Chain discipline
  • This is transformation of business process and it takes a lot of depth and interest in how organizations are structured, their dysfunction and process improvement. Any candidate who has studied organizational leadership might have a higher level of interest or application.
  • Anyone who has interned previously in a Sales Support or Marketing role and has experience with generating ideas of how customers make buying decisions is a plus

SAP Academy for Presales


JOB SUMMARY

The SAP Presales Academy is a world-class one year global training program that includes six months of classroom-style learning at our state-of-the-art facility just outside San Francisco, California, followed by six months of on-the-job training at one of SAP’s many international office locations. Your experience with SAP will start with 1 month onboarding in your local SAP office, during which you will already be introduced to your mentor, a senior Presales team member, whom you will shadow and who will provide extensive exposure to your future role.

Throughout the program, you will build the foundations needed for success in the Presales profession. Our experiential learning includes Role Plays, Presentations, Case Studies, Whiteboarding, Classroom Learning, Individual Coaching and Team Competitions.

The Academy teaches the latest innovative solutions, sales methodology and discovery techniques. Innovative learning methods include Design Thinking, Financial Case studies, Interpersonal Skills and Social Selling, among others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of an experienced account team, your tasks upon completion of the 12 month program will include:

  • Creating and delivering high impact, engaging software demonstrations that compel the customer to select SAP
  • Supporting demand generation activities by staffing marketing events
  • Providing deal execution support by responding to requests for proposals
  • Leading customer discovery and site survey activities to uncover business challenges and opportunities for innovation
  • Assisting with post sale customer care engagements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • The SAP Academy for Presales looks for a wide variety of backgrounds such as Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, Human Resources, Procurement, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Travel and Logistics, Database Technology and many others

Intern – IT Technical Support


JOB SUMMARY

The technician in this position requires minimal supervision; plans, evaluates and supports routine/advanced infrastructure.  As a technical specialist provides resolution for advanced systems problems.  Leads and actively participates in projects supporting infrastructure implementation for their district.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs first and second level support activities, including but not limited to the following:

  • IT Direct ticketing monitoring
  • Telephone support to clients
  • Monitor SAPTV and other events as required
  • Support local office IT infrastructure
  • Receives and accommodates notebook requests according to Policy and procedures, tracks notebook distribution,  allocation and timely returns from repair depot
  • Support local mobile devices (smartphones and tablets)
  • Ability to perform computer troubleshooting and machine rebuilds
  • Responsible for tracking and security of fixed assets; asset tagging,  random and annual inventory, EMR (equipment master record) updates in database
  • Troubleshoot local printer, local servers and local network issues
  • Adheres to standard SAP End User Policies, escalates issues appropriately, and utilizes tools provided for issue tracking and change management
