1. JOB TITLE

UI/UX Designer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create mock-ups for websites and mobile applications
• Provide design strategy for website and mobile UI
• Create and gather digital assets when needed
• Work closely with in-house web developers and stake-holders to design overall look and feel of web properties
• Work with and contribute to existing style guides and branding
• Help with other special projects that require graphic or photo re-touching
• Stay up-to-date on trends in web design and UI layouts
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of experience or equivalent education
• Must be able to work in-house (no telecommuting)
• Track record of creating modern web and UI design; a portfolio should be available for review with an emphasis on interactive web portals and/or mobile apps
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Understanding of modern web development techniques and web development process
• Able to work in, and contribute to, a team environment


2. JOB TITLE

iOS Developer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce complex user interfaces and experiences for native iOS applications based on detailed UI/UX designs
• Integrate with in-house and third-party RESTful data APIs
• Analyze, debug and resolve application issues which affect the end-user experience
• Work with minimal supervision (and appropriate guidance) to extend and improve the Acorns native IOS application(s) working as part of an agile software development team

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of software development experience
• 1+ years of experience building native, data-driven iOS applications using Apple Xcode/Objective-C and/or Swift
• One (1) or more applications successfully deployed to the Apple App Store with multiple releases/updates
• Demonstrable skills and experience in implementing high-performance, dynamic UI programmatically using both conventional and autolayout strategies
• Experience implementing third-party SDKs on iOS (Social Media, Marketing/Crash Analytics, etc)
• Prior experience working with CoreData/NSManagedObject in a deployed application
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented (OO) application design and development, Cocoa Touch design patterns, algorithm design
• Experience working as part of an agile software development team including interaction with a source code repository (GitHub or SVN)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience building native mobile applications on Android/Windows Phone SDKs or mobile web products using • JavaScript/CSS/HTML5
• Full-stack development experience in Ruby or Java, preferably on Amazon EC2/AWS infrastructure
• Database administration and development experience on any RDBMS platform using SQL
• Contribution to an open-source software project
• Knowledge and understanding of the basics of investing, modern portfolio theory, fundamental investment portfolio calculations


3. JOB TITLE

Marketing Coordinator

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the development of an integrated marketing strategy including, but not limited to: benchmarking, market segmentation, research, web analytics and market analysis
• Handle online marketing vehicles, social media, affiliates, SEO and outbound email marketing campaigns
• Identify emerging market segments
• Develop and conceive campaigns or programs to drive new customer acquisition
• Build, manage, and support effective marketing programs within budget and investment guidelines
• Develop marketing strategies and execute marketing plans that drive customer loyalty and retention
• Analyze marketing trends and tracking competitors’ activities and providing valuable inputs for product and service enhancement
• Regularly track and report each marketing plans/program performance and results.Support the execution of marketing events with each department
• Maintain strong communication and coordination with all members of the marketing and merchandising departments
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing
• 1 years of progressive marketing or equivalent education
• Excellent written/verbal, time management skills
• Proven quantitative analytical and conceptual skills
• Highly effective communicator to all levels, able to clearly articulate the company’s values
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated strong facilitation skills and ability to identify common ground amongst individuals with divergent opinions and perspectives
• Strong abilities in the areas of analysis, budgeting, problem solving and decision making
